You’re at WORDINGHOUSE! Life is Wonderful!
Each week, on Mondays, I am going to throw 3 enthralling things your way. Fascinating things, inspiring things, mesmerizing things, but mostly inspiring.
I invite you to embark on this creative journey with me—it won’t be dull. The waters are never-ending. And the boat is a real Tiara.
Topics will include subjects such as music, art, literature, film, poetry, culture, human rights. Nothing is off limits here, but we will aim to explore in a way that inspires creative growth in you, in me, in all.
I’m going to break topics down into a few simple paragraphs and leave links in case you want to pop your head down even further into the rabbit hole.
And since this is WORDINGHOUSE, a Home that is Always Wording, we’ll end with a Weekly Word leaving you smarter.
As a writer, how could I not give out gifts of wonderous words and delicious language?
This is a home to all … to converse, explore and enjoy.
Let’s disco …
Who’s Behind WORDINGHOUSE?
This guy who is me: A.J.M.
Hey Hey, it’s great to meet you.
I live in a tourist town/trap on the Gulf of Mexico with my wife, Tracy, and two lovely human sparks, Solomon and Vera. I graduated from the University of Kansas with a BA in English and an emphasis in Creative Writing.
For better or worse, I’m in real estate and can dish out more synonyms for “beach house” than an online thesaurus.
My photographs have appeared in various literary journals including River River, Stoneboat and Meat for Tea. I’ve contributed articles on architecture, real estate and culture to The Epoch Times and Middle Land Magazine.
Recently, my poetry has been published in OxMag, The William & Mary Review, In Parentheses and The Dewdrop.
You are welcome to visit me anytime at adamjonmiller.com.
Regardless of one’s walk of life, creativity is the key ingredient to success. It’s the fuel that feeds off itself to make more of itself—like fire. This newsletter is a little kindling—my goal is to help you keep yours burning.
